Much like our stay in Paris, our time in London was wonderful. The owner met us at the apartment and was thorough in his review. The apartment was perfect from a location perspective as well as all the amenities. We'll be back!

The personalized service when we were met at the apartment was a very nice touch. All the appliances were explained, in addition to restaurant recommendations, sites, etc. We arrived to scones and strawberry jam. The location of the apartment is fantastic - it is a 2 minute walk from the Glouster Rd. tube station which has 3 tube lines and will get you anywhere you need to go in London. The double decker bus tours also pickup right in front of the Glouster Rd. tube station and is a fun thing to do with kids on the first day in London. Vacation London Apartments gave us outstanding customer service and they have apts. in Paris as well. They are not just a single owner where you can have some issues - they understand the needs of a traveling family and make it as easy as possible. They even arranged for our car service to and from the airport. We would definitely rent from them again!

The apartment was conveniently located in a quiet area close to Gloucester Road tube station. It is a professionally owned and managed apartment rather than a home that is rented out. This means it well designed and beautifully furnished, with all necessary appliances. It also had some homely touches such as artworks, books etc. The living area had large windows facing south so the room was light and bright. We were met on arrival and fully instructed on all appliances and features. The apartment also has an excellent folder of nearby restaurants, shops sites etc. We thoroughly recommend the apartment. By the way, we also rented an apartment in Paris (Rue Fabert, Paris 7) owned by same organisation, which we also recommend.

We absolutely loved this flat. It was our first time travelling to London, with our 13 and 16 year old daughters. We arrived later than scheduled but the airport car you had arranged kindly waited for us. Karina was at the flat to meet us, very friendly and informative. From the flowers, and fresh groceries for breakfast, to the laptop in the flat, and the very helpful information booklet you have prepared.... it was perfect. We especially loved the location of the flat, close to the shops, restaurants, groceries, underground and buses, as well as walking distance to the museums and Hyde Park. We found getting around London surprisingly easy from this area. The flat itself was very clean, and quiet and the neighbourhood felt safe. The furnishings were lovely. We all enjoyed just relaxing in the flat at times, as it was so comfortable and cosy, and the view of the gardens beautiful. The kitchen was completely functional. We really have not one complaint. We loved it, and would stay here again, and again. (No more hotels for us!)

We rented the flat at Wetherby Gardens in South Kensington from May 11 through May 18, 2011. This was a perfect place to stay in London! Just down the street from Kensington Palace, everything was very convenient -- from tube stop to groceries to pharmacy to pubs to museums to bus tours. And, the neighborhood is loaded with excellent restaurants. Katie was a pleasure to deal with, and the flat exceeded our expectations. We so appreciated the heated towel racks and having all of the amenities in the kitchen. Never a shortage of hot water and very quiet and peaceful -- you'd never know you were in such a bustling city. We also enjoyed the lovely garden off of our terrace. Having the ability to phone home was another BIG plus! It was an outstanding home away from home!

We were so comfortable at Wetherby Gardens, London, one day my 17 year old daughter spent the day snug in the apartment, even though the sun was out in a cloudless day. The location made transport and walking a pleasure, no taxi was ever needed. Our ony issue was figuring out the washer/dryer and oven. But Katie was ever available and she has now provided clearer directions.I would give this lovely home away the highest recomendation.10 ,10, and again 10.

Outstanding location, close to the subway, food stores, and restaurants. Quiet classy neighborhood in a residential area. The apartment was very clean, updated, modern, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The staff to help you with any problems while at the apartment did an outstanding job. Very, very helpful.

We rented this gorgeous apartment in Wetherby Gardens from February 23rd - March 4th 2011. Upon arrival, the apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, welcoming & warm. Wetherby Gardens, is a quiet residential garden square, that is located only moments away (by foot) from the Gloucester Road, Old Brompton Road and South Kensington. Whereby there are many of London's finest restaurants. wonderful shops and excellent public transport etc Another huge bonus was the fact that it was really, really quiet. As the apartment is situated at the back of the building, facing the lovely communal gardens, away from the road. Plus there was no noise from neighbours (which is always something that can disturb us, as we are used to living in a very quiet villa in Antibes) London Vacation Apartments had ensured that pretty much everything one could possibly need, whilst renting a 'holiday apartment' was already there & waiting for us!! The lovely sitting room and the 2 bedrooms are south facing, which even in dreary February were flooded with sunlight. We greatly look forward to our return and would recommend this beautiful apartment and excellent company in a heart beat!! All in all, when one considers hotel costs (and often the ambient noise endured, lack of privacy and being confined to living in one room whilst staying in a hotel). To rent such a beautiful apartment as this one at a fraction of the cost of a hotel... is a dream come true!!
