The apartment worked perfectly for our family and we enjoyed the balcony and the wonderful square which it over-looked. We also appreciated how well equiped and clean the apartment was. This flat is very well located. The area is only a few metro stops away from the center. We even walked to the center a few times. We had dinner almost every night on Upper Street. Islington is a very lively, quaint and hip area. I recommend this flat if you are looking for a great place in a great area. It was very comfortable for 4 people and it is very nicely furnished. It is also equipped with everything necessary for a short stay. We stayed for 5 nights and were able to wash our clothes and prepare breakfast in the flat.

I really loved this charming flat located in beautiful Islington. The flat was as good as it looks like, clean and fresh! I will recommend my friends and family to rent it if they ever go to London! What I liked the most is that it’s located in the middle of trendy Upper Street where you can find amazing restaurants for a good price as well good pubs and bars. It’s just about 15 min with the underground into city too. Me and my friend had a perfect holiday :) Thank you!

The location is incredible, door to door with plenty of different world tastes restaurants, 10 mins walk from Victoria line (connecting Gatwick), and 10' walk to Northern connecting with main center metro lines, buses round the corner to get anywhere. Convenience supermarket right in front (07:00 to-22:00) The appartment is fully functional for a family with 3 children (2 teenagers), free wifi and Shucko plugs as guest courtesy. Quiet nieghbourhood in working days, we just had a loud music night thanks to a bar downstairs, but we where so tired it didnt't bother that much. There are just two comments on the appartment itself: Kitchen: cooking is not very comfortable and it has a very little fridge. Seating for eating: eating together is pretty difficult due to the lack of a big enough table and propper seating elements. Nothing too worrying because of the broad eating offer beside the house.

The owner has a beautiful apartment and it was a great place to base myself for a few days in London. Anyone who knows London will also know that the apartment's location, right opposite Islington Town Hall, is perfect for a safe location, that's also quiet and well connected with great connections. The apartment is just as beautiful as the photos look: it's small, but every room is thoughtfully laid out.The owner himself is a professional, likeable and reliable host. One tip: check the key before the owner leaves. There's a bit of a knack to opening the door.

My 2 daughters and I recently rented this apartment for 10 days. To say we were extremely disappointed would be an understatement. The furnishings were not as they appear - the white sofa replaced by a very worn blue/grey one. The chair does not exist and was replaced by a futon therefore overcrowding the space. The refrigerator did not work which we did not realise until having to throw out the food we had purchased at the local Sainsburys. The internet connection kept dropping out which meant my daughter had to buy internet time at the local Starbucks to enable her to finish a university assignment. After email contact with the owner, he offered to send the maintenance man around (to re-gas the fridge!!) but we had at this point decided that we would not be using the kitchen. I am seeking recompense and have made an official complaint. A very unpleasant experience all in all. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone - you would be much better off staying in a hotel or B&B. The only good thing was the location.

Very nice flat, very well furnished and very attentive service and contact with the owner. The flat is on a 3rd floor, high above street level and its noise and has double glazed windows. However, there is a very noisy bar downstairs with live music acts into the am that permeates into the flat, so maybe you want to check the "King's Head" concert program before your visit. Upper St is a great location, with easy access to transportation, specially if you figure out the bus system, far more scenic, less crowded and cheaper than the overrated tube. Cool shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Other than the noise, the place, the location and service is impeccable.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Apartment is in great location, Islington has all what you need, during the day and night too. The flat was comfortable and pretty, very close to bus-stop and 5 minute to Angel underground station.

On my recent visit to London, I decided to rent an apartment or "flat" rather than stay at a hotel, to try and get a feel for how the locals live. Boy, I was so glad I did. First of all, the owner was great to work with. He was very professional and was quick to respond to emails, despite the time difference. The initial apartment I wanted to rent was not available, but he had another apartment available which was very nice and spacious. The apartment was exactly as pictured and was decorated with contemporary, comfortable furniture and art. Most importantly, the apartment was very clean. The cable/satellite offered many great channels and there was even WI-FI available, if I had brought my laptop with me. There was even a complimentary mobile phone that is made available for the guests. The phone was charged and ready to go. All I had to do was purchase some "Top Up" airtime, which was easy to do and convenient to purchase from the grocery store that was about two doors down from the apartment. This was extremely helpful and useful to me as my own mobile phone did not work in the UK. There were numerous restaurants and boutiques in walking distance of the apartment. F.Y.I. Desperado's Mexican Grill had some very tasty food. There was even a Sainsbury's Supermarket nearby, where you can do a little food shopping. The street that the apartment is located on (Upper Street) was very busy, but you don't hear any of the street noise in the bedroom when you're trying to get some sleep, There was three of us that stayed at this apartment and we each had more than enough room.

Whole experience was great. The owner & his partner were very friendly and responded quickly when we had questions. Excellent location. There were 4 of us 2 adults 2 kids; and the space was just right. Would definitely recommend.

The Upper Street flat was exactly like the photos. The location was perfect! Loved the street. Had such a good time, we ended up going out in Angel for New Years Eve. teh owner and his staff were very easy to work with. I highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in a cool, hipster spot in London

We found that the owner is an excellent host both with communications and generosity. We enjoyed staying in the Apartment, being Australians and used to the wide open spaces, we adjusted to the compact living when in London, the location is fantastic with transport outside your door all the Theaters and Restaurants you could want plus great shopping. Thank you once again. we will be back.
